AIA won the second Warwickshire Libraries NPO project 'The Big Green Tour' to complete community engagement sessions in 22 Warwickshire LSOA's which will cumulate ina celebration day aand event on Earth Day 2025. The co created work is all made using recyclables. With a focus on reuse, restore, reclaim, recycle.
Warwickshire Libraries NPO is an Arts Council-funded National Portfolio Organisation. Arts In Action received their inaugural commission as an NPO for the Green Futures, Art and Sustainability Stream. Sessions took place at various libraries and community groups, where participants utilised recycled materials to craft collaborative weavings and collages that formed a large artwork touring the libraries. Additionally, a celebration day featured art activities, poetry, and more!
